Lubuntu Software Centre Icon Gets A Makeover

I love the lightweight Lubuntu Software Centre, but until now its icon has been… lacking.

But no more: Rafael posted his design for a new Software Centre icon on the Lubuntu blog: –

He writes: –

“Just a new icon for the Lubuntu Software Center. Not using the Ubuntu standard anymore (not appropriate, we think). And so on, a possibly redesign for the whole application is coming. I hope you like it!”

It’s not yet available in Lubuntu, which uses a custom version of the elementary icon set, but keep an eye out for it. I think it’s awesome!
