KDE twitter app Choqok hits 1.0, adds new features

Qt Twitter application ‘Choqok’ has announced the release of a new stable version.

The release, which has originally been planned for December 26 but held back due a lack of bug reporting on the release candidate, adds many new feathers to the KDE application’s nest, including: –

• Support for Twitpic, Flickr, Posterous, Mobypicture, Twitgoo, ImageShack (YFrog) image sharing services.
• Several URL shortening services.
• Preview thumbnails of Images and videos posted by others
• Share what you’re listening to with your friends with a wide range of player support
• Set your dent/tweet as your current status on IM clients.
• Filter out unwanted posts.
