A new release of powerful prosumer KDE video-editor ‘Kdenlive’ has been anonunced.
Kdenlive 0.7.8 brings many new features to the editor, including: –
- improved tools for color correction
- adjust some transitions and effects directly
- track effects – this allows you to apply an effect to an entire track
- Create animated slideshows
On top of which come some welcome bug fixes – 97 in fact! Read those here.
Download/Install
Source code can be downloaded from the Kdenlive sourceforge page and installed at your will . Alternatively 0.7.8 can be installed from the following Kdenlive-Unstable PPA until official packages are announced: –
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sunab/sunab2
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install kdenlive
