The latest version of Novell-sponsored distribution OpenSuse has been released today.

OpenSuse 11.3 brings a boatload of brilliant new features to users desktop including secure online file backup via SpiderOak, tracker file indexing (replacing beagle), btrfs support & a even the option of installing a preview build of GNOME Shell.

The light-weight desktop enviroment (LXDE) also makes a showing as an install option, making OpenSuse a perfect fit for users seeking a bit more oomph from their hardware.

The next version of OpenSuse, 11.4, is scheduled for release in March of 2011.
