The latest version of open-source flash player alternative Lightspark has been released.
This version brings several new features to users including Chrome/ium support, improved sound synchronization and better compatibility with YouTube. Support for Firefox’s ‘out of process plugin’ crash prevention is also ready for testing, the how-to of which can be found on the Lightspark wiki.
Installation
This latest version is all primed for Ubunt users, ready for installation from the official Lightspark PPA: –
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sssup/sssup-ppa
- sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install lightspark
