Popular music player Banshee has bumped itself up to version1.7.3 today, rolling out with it a fantastic new in-app Amazon MP3 store, Miro podcast directory integration “allowing users to discover, stream, and subscribe to podcasts in a way never before possible in Banshee” and a new tool for fixing ill formatted, incorrect, or just plain illogical, meta tag data.

The release also comes with the standard round of bug fixes and enhancements, including improvements to the covert art auto-downloader. Full list of changes can be read in the release notes.

The latest version of Banshee can be procured at the official site (as source) or installed via the Banshee Daily Builds PPA.
