Over the last few days I've been posting a few photos of our new office, a space in the Centre for Innovation at Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand thanks to The Distiller. The guys and gals on our Facebook page have enjoyed the photos, so I figured it'd be a good idea to post a few of them here for you guys to have a look too.

This week we are running a desktop screenshot competition on our Facebook page. The top five desktops as chosen by our panel of judges will be published in an article on OMG! Ubuntu! for all the world to see. Hit up the break for details on how to enter.
The default desktop of Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal will not support traditional GNOME panel applets as many of us have become accustomed. In their place sit 'Application Panel Indicators' - a new breed of notification area entries designed to be consistent and unified in look and function thus leading to a desktop more in tune with itself and with its users.
