A brand new version of SuperTuxKart, the best kart racing game to not feature Mario, Toad or Diddy Kong, is now available to download.
SuperTuxKart 0.9.2 comes with some snazzy new stuff to check out, including slick new tracks, a new soccer field and, for the ultra competitive among you, the ability to record your races and then pit yourself against your own best time.
The challenging three-strikes battle and soccer modes are now available in single player thanks to improved AI.
A new kart characteristic system also features in this release. This makes it easier for you to adjust kart physics and behaviour to truly customise a kart to your own needs.

One new feature that isn’t in this latest release is networked multiplayer. “More work needed to make it work well,” The SuperTuxKart developers say, but add that work continues and that ‘it is our top priority’.
