Well that’s the total space on offer for free Ubuntu One accounts as part of the newly-launched Ubuntu One referral scheme.
Taking a leaf out of the Dropbox book, whose popularity was spurred on by its referral scheme, Canonical are offering 500MB of extra space for every one person you get to sign up to Ubuntu One.
That’s an extra 500MB for you, and an extra 500MB for the signee.
The bad news for many of us is that the people most likely to use Ubuntu One already are. This makes racking up the full 40 referrals needed to nab 20GB of space might a bit of a challenge.
But we all love a challenge, right?
