Copenhagen, Denmark is to play host to the next Ubuntu Developer Summit (UDS) later this year.

The bi-annual event sees Ubuntu developers from around the world get together to hammer out the details for the next release of Ubuntu.

This year the event, to be held at the popular Bella Centre in Denmark’s capital, will take place over 4 days rather than the ‘traditional’ 5 days, running from October 29th through to November 1st, 2012.

During this time blueprints, plans and discussion on Ubuntu 13.04 will take place.

Back to Europe

UDS-R marks the first UDS in over a year to be held outside of the United States. The previous two events were held in Florida and California respectively.

Budapest, Hungary played host during the planning of Ubuntu 11.10.
