Does the placing of the ‘back’ and ‘forward’ navigation buttons in GNOME 3’s Nautilus bug you?

Let it no more: OMG! Ubuntu! reader Tim has written up a solution on switching the navigation arrows back to their old placing.

Buttons, Schmuttons

In pre-GNOME 3 nautilus the navigation buttons were placed at the start of the toolbar to the left. Nautilus 3 sees them shunted to the right, where they sit next to the ‘Search’ button.

Tim’s guide, which can be round on the Ubuntu Forums, link at the bottom of this post, will walk you through the small hack. Tim tells us that ‘the whole process only takes between 5-10 minutes.’
