An online version of Libreoffce, along with versions for Android and iOS, were two of the items announced by the The Document Foundation at this years LibreOffice Conference in Paris, France.
The web-based version of LibreOffice, demoed in the embed below, uses the GTK+ framework and the HTML5 canvas to render the interface.
Also announced were plans to port LibreOffice to Android and iOS by late 2012/early 2013 – complete with a new mobile-friendly interface.
The porting work will be carried out by Finnish developer Tor Lillqvist, who was responsible for porting GIMP to Windows.
