OS X Lion Launchpad inspired Plasmoid ‘Takeoff’ brings a full screen application launcher to the Kubuntu desktop.

Takeoff can be installed in Ubuntu 11.04 by adding the ‘Lffl Natty Extra’ PPA to your Software Sources: –
- ppa:ferramroberto/nattyextra
After adding the PPA and running an update install Takeoff by clicking here.
Takeoff can be added to your desktop via ‘Add Wigets > takeoff‘.
The look of the launcher can also be fine tuned, with options to set the number of rows, columns and spacing between icons.
