Desktop e-book manager ‘Calibre’ added support for more e-reader devices and a ‘Get Books’ feature for finding an e-book for the cheapest price online in its latest release, version 0.8.
Calibre 0.8 also sees many revamped interfaces, with a new look ‘main screen’, improvements to the metadata dialog, a new unified menu in place of the traditional menubar and rejigged preferences dialog to aid you in finding the settings you want faster.
All help to streamline Calibre and bring its interface up to standard of other applications.
New plugins, device support and general application performance also feature.
