Jean-Baptiste Lallement from the Ubuntu Quality Assurance team has announced the introduction of a weekly testing program for nVidia proprietary drivers.

If you want to be part of the team you will need:

  • A computer with an nVIDIA (GeForce 7 or newer) graphics card
  • A spare partition on that system (If you don’t have a spare partition you can easily create one.)
  • One hour of your time per week
  • An Internet connection

Full instructions are available on the testing wiki page for those of you ready to get started.

Don’t worry AMD/ATI folks, when updated drivers are available from AMD the testing procedure will be added to the page.
