Mike Conley from Mozilla Messaging sends along that he’s ready to have people testing his work on integrating Thunderbird into the messaging menu.
Things that currently work:
- Indications on new messages in inbox
- Menu items for composing new messages and reaching address book
- Focuses Thunderbird if Thunderbird is selected from the Messaging Menu
Things that don’t work:
- Doesn’t yet indicate if you’ve received new newsgroup or RSS feed messages.
- Whatever you find next and file as a bug report. :)
The extension has been tested in both 3.1.8, as well as edge (3.3a3pre). File bugs here.
Sorry, there’s currently no PPA available, but we’ll update as soon as we have news of one.
