Sometimes there are scripts/apps that I just have to feature for the sheer ‘woaaah’ factor – and this is certainly one of them.

Newrez is a nautilus script that innocently lets you switch your screen resolution via a right click. It also, more notably, lets you set a screen resolution higher than your monitor default.

Using a netbook with a 1024×600 screen? Newrez can let you set a scaled 1280×800 – or higher – resolution.

Crazy times to be had, just don’t invoice me your Optometrist bill.
