Last week I posted about Tommy Brunn’s ace Imgur nautilus script that makes image uploading a right-click breeze.

On that post many readers wished for ‘login’ support so that images could be uploaded to their Imgur accounts.

Easy Imgur uploading in Ubuntu

Reader khAttAm saw fit to bake such a feature in and his improved account-supporting version of the script can be download @ khattam.info/files/ImgurUploader-r13.khattam.info.tar.gz

  • Extract the above file, run uninstall to remove the older version and then edit the file "Upload to Imgur" to enter your username and password.
  • Proceed to install

Now, when you upload, your files will be uploaded to your Imagur profile.

khAttAm goes on to note that if you wish to change your password at a later date you need only open the file loacted at ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/Upload\ to\ Imgur and edit the settings accordingly.

Great work khAttAm!
