Chalk another one up people for the latest developer builds of Clementine now supports the Ubuntu sound menu.
Not much to elucidate further on here – everything works as it should.

Bear in mind this a development PPA thus not stable nor intended for mass use. That said, if you’re impatient, it’s an easy way to get the latest features before release day.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:me-davidsansome/clementine-dev
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install clementine
Alternatively you can nab the .deb’s from the archive page @ launchpad.net/~me-davidsansome/+archive/clementine-dev/+packages
