The lightweight LXDE distribution Lubuntu has made available its latest version – based on Ubuntu 10.10.
A nimble and easy-to-use desktop, Lubuntu 10.10 see the addition of a new theme (see screenshot below), various new applications including resource-friendly note application ‘Xpad’ and a new native task manager, support for indicator applets on the LXDE desktop panel and an improved ‘appearance’ window.
