A temporary repository for LibreOffice – the newly-announced fork of OpenOffice – has been set up for Ubuntu, Linux Mint and other Debian-based distributions to use.
The repository makes installation of the newly forked office suite, still in beta, a breeze for (32bit) users.
Open a new terminal and enter the following commands carefully:
echo 'deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/gericom/libreoffice /' | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 890E7A26
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libreoffice3* lobasis3.3*
to install the suite.
