Dual screen users can now benefit from the beauty of Maverick’s default wallpaper thanks to the following dedicated dual-screen version by Kyle Baker.

Kyle Baker, whom regular readers will know is a familiar name around these parts, used GIMP to turn the default Ubuntu 10.10 wallpaper into a dual-screen dream. He freely admits the dual-screen-isation of Maverick’s ethereal drape required nothing major on his part and took around 10 seconds: “I simply scaled the original image into a 2560″–1020” he says.

Kyle also created a dual variant of Ubuntu 10.04’s wallpaper which is available here.
