The Ubuntu Stack Exchange site which we previously covered is now out of beta in time for the release of Ubuntu 10.10.

The site is now a fully functioning help center for new Ubuntu users. It’s got a brand spanking new theme to match the new Ubuntu branding, and a wicked new URL: askubuntu.com

“Stack Overflow is a website featuring questions and answers on a wide range of topics in computer programming. Users are able to ask and answer questions, and, through membership and active participation, to vote questions and answers up or down and edit questions and answers in a wiki fashion.”

Similar to Launchpad answers, users can register and then post questions as well as answer other questions. It’s another excellent help and support tool that should prove extremely useful for new Ubuntu users.

Check it out now @ askubuntu.com
