I’ve been using Ubuntu’s Radiance theme a lot recently (having pretty much used Ambiance solidly since March this year) and I’m really loving the softness about it.
Emesene is my preferred IM client for communicating via MSN (I do use Empathy when I also need to be signed in on Google Talk, Facebook & IRC.
The following icon set is solely for Radiance – the author has stated that they have no intention of making an Ambiance set.

Installation
Icon themes can be installed from the Emesene > Preferences > Themes > Install new theme settings dialog or manually extracted into ‘/usr/share/emesene/themes’.
