German hardware company Cirrus7 are gearing up to release a new Ubuntu-powered PC. The aluminium-cased Cirrus7 Nimbus is tiny, measuring just 22cm x 22cm with a height a smidge over 5cm.
We shared word of Linux Mint's new PC, the 'MintBox', with you a few weeks back. Today the product has been officially announced. Two models of the MintBox are available: a basic version with less RAM and a slower CPU/GPU combo, and a faster 'Pro' model in a stylised case. The Ubuntu-based spin have been working with computer manufacturer CompuLab since late last year to bring Linux Mint to market on a range of energy efficient and fanless devices.
