OMG! Ubuntu! has readers dotted all around the world from all walks of life. Our lively comments section has given birth to new apps and projects; developers have sought and received valuable feedback; and bugs have been fixed thanks to passionate readers highlighting problems.
OMG! Ubuntu! is manned full-time by Joey-Elijah Sneddon, a 24 year old journalism graduate based in the UK.
We're also supported by guest writers from the Ubuntu development community, Canonical, Debian, Zeitgeist, and more.
We do our best to ensure that OMG! Ubuntu! is available to as many people as possible. We a dedicated Android application, and a Google Chrome extension. An iPhone app, along with a tablet-optimized website will be available in 2012. All are free of charge.

We do more than report on projects - we like to help them too. From promoting awareness of 'real world' initiatives that support Linux, to raising money for innovative new open-source projects: we help as best we can. If you know a project in need, reach out to us and we'll see what we can do.
OMG! Ubuntu! runs on Ubuntu Cloud Guests to ensure the greatest uptime and fastest response times we can achieve, even under immense traffic.
The site itself is built on the open source blogging package WordPress. It's served by either Nginx HTTP for http, or Reverse Proxy which we also serve to you via Nginx.
All of our Instances are deployed and then fully monitored, and managed with juju.
