libreoffice-no-lomenuA new release of open-source office suite LibreOffice is now available to download.

LibreOffice 3.6.7, announced by The Document Foundation today (July 18th), is the final bug fix & stability update in the 3.6.x series.

It follows last month’s release of LibreOffice 4.0, the successor to the 3.x line.

Over 50 bugs have been squashed, including annoying quirks with checkboxes in Writer and solves an issue with ucpgvfs1.uno.so on some versions of Linux in which LibreOffice would fail to load.

Alongside this final update The Document Foundation are also inviting users to take a look at some of the upcoming features of LibreOffice 4.1.
