Ubuntu computer makers System76 are welcoming the arrival of Autumn with a nifty new offer: free hard-drive upgrades for customers.
Anyone buying a laptop during the offer period will be presented with the choice of a 500GB 7200RPM HDD with 4GB SSD upgrade, or, for those all about the storage, a 750GB 7200RPM HDD upgrade.
Desktop buyers will nab a free 1TB HDD upgrade.
System76 don’t say when the offer expires, nor did they know when we asked. So if you’re planning on getting a device from System76 my guess would be to do it sooner rather than later if you intend on taking advtanage of this deal.
