Over in the development scape of the Quantal Quetzal Ubuntu’s Unity desktop has just reached version 6.2.
Unity 6.2 targets some 91 bugs, including:
- Occasional invisible/blank launcher icons
- Purchased Apps not being added to the Unity launcher
- Lack of shortcuts for the video lens in the Shortcut Overlay
- HUD not closing by Alt+F4 when Numlock or Capslock are on
- Mounted volume icons doubling up in the Launcher
- Unity Alt-Tab switcher window being slow to appear
- Quicklists stopping the HUD from opening
- Switcher not focusing the last active window in detail mode
