‘Ubuntu For Android’ Demoed on Video at FISL

Ubuntu for Android

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I never tire of seeing Ubuntu for Android in action.

Lucky for me then that a new video pimping the feature set of this very thing has surfaced online.

Filmed at the Fórum Internacional Software Livre (FISL) 13 event held in Porto Alegre, Brazil last week, the 6 minute long overview runs through many of the core Ubuntu for Android features, including docking, running apps, using Unity, etc.

Do keep an eye out for the parts that show access to Android features from within Ubuntu. This is pretty neat (even if the version of Android is a good few generations behind).

Although the audio of the video is in Portuguese the demonstration can be easily followed regardless of whether you speak it or not.
