A third-party developer has taken the code for Ubuntu TV and added some changes of his own. The results are pretty stunning.
Amongst Joseph Mills’ changes are:
- Torrent lens with coverflow
- Nokia Maps Lens (embedded in the Dash)
- Slick weather pane
- Themed settings, including session menu
As well as being visually very nice, the changes made hint at not only the possibilities available with Ubuntu TV but with Unity as a whole.
Many of you, like me, probably wouldn’t mind seeing a few of these changes make their way to the desktop version of Unity…
