We like covering spots of ‘Ubuntu in the wild’ – but even more so when it crops up in places you wouldn’t always expect.

Today’s nod is from an article on the Microsoft-backed “Build New Games” website – a developer orientated hub for learning how to make kick-ass browser-based games to open standards.

Now, in all fairness, the site itself isn’t run by Microsoft but rather ‘brought to you with help from Microsoft’. Their involvement ends at ‘sponsoring it’.

But with prominently-placed Internet Explorer logosdotted all about the place, and the outward links to Microsoft’s IE10 ‘test drive’ page, the juxtaposition is, nevertheless, something to chuckle at.
