The Ubuntu Global Jam – a weekend-long session of community activities to help improve Ubuntu – wraps up tomorrow, but if you feel a bit left out of activities here’s your chance to contribute.

The developers of micro-blogging client Gwibber and screen-recording tool Kazam are holding an ‘Open season bug hut’ today – the 3rd of March from 8.00UTC.

“To help with the testing you will need the latest version of Ubuntu 12.04 – Precise Pangolin with Gwibber 3.4 (3.3.90) and Kazam 1.0.4 (1.0.4.1 NCC-1701E) installed. Gwibber testing will be exclusive to Precise Pangolin, Kazam testing will also cover Oneiric Ocelot.”

Hop on to your IRC client of choice (I recommend Opera for IRC newbies or Smuxi for the IRC-savvy) and join #gwibber and #kazam on irc.freenode.net to learn more..

Bugs found should be reported in Launchpad @ /kazam and /gwibber  respectively.
