Reader Matt use ‘Hamster’, a small app designed to keep track of time spent on various activities, and its relatively new Indicator-applet clothing.

But, due to suffering from ‘compulsive desktop consistency disorder’ (CDCD), couldn’t ‘stand the sight’ of Hamsters’ bright-blue icon amongst his otherwise mono-panel. So, to balm his suffering, Matt created a couple of mono icons for the default Ubuntu light themes and mailed them into us to share with you.

Download the relevant icon from the two listed below. Open Nautilus as root (gksu nautilus) and place the icon in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/22×22/apps/. Then restart the Hamster Indicator for the changes to take effect.
