If you’re a forgetful or just an easily excitable kind of person then you might want to know how many days are left until the release of ‘Ubuntu 11.10′.
The small script shows the number of days remaining until the next Ubuntu release using Ubuntu’s notification system.

Download the script @ localhostr.com/download/PzZLLFg/Oneiric-en-1.0.tar.bz2
Extract the archive and, inside the resulting folder, double-click and run the ‘Oneiric’ script.
When you need to see the remaining days until the Ocelot’s arrival enter ‘oneiric’ in a Terminal and hit enter.
