Elementary released the first version of their refined Ubuntu-based operating system ‘eOS’ yesterday.

Anyway, several months back the OS was made available for pre-ordering on physical media for a small sum. If you, like myself and many others, slapped down some cash straight away to nab the OS on disc you might be wondering where the jolly-higgins it is…

Don’t panic. Project lead Dan Rabbit let me know what the deal is with the delay: –

“This is the first time any of us have ever done this kind of mass disc duplication… So it’s taking longer than we thought it would. But I promise the discs will arrive.”
