When the elementary project launched the first release of their operating system late last month the only way to download a copy was by jumping on the torrent bandwagon.
Many potential users, for varying reasons, were unable to or uncomfortable in using torrent files so it’s great to hear that the team now have direct .iso downloads available for the torrent-shy.
Images can be download @ sourceforge.net/projects/elementaryos/files/ which, answering another complaint about the initial release, is now available in a 64bit flavour.
