The first release candidate of KDE software compilation 4.6 has been made available for download.
The main ‘sell’ of the RC is improved stability, bug fixes, translation updates and artwork polish. Also present is the brand new ‘default’ wallpaper for the 4.6 release, named ‘Horos’ (click here to download).
The KDE-PIM set to include KMail 2 has been delayed from inclusion in this release due to on-going development issues.
The final release of KDE SC 4.6 is pencilled in for January, 26th 2011, giving it enough time to comfortably ship in Kubuntu 11.04
