Of the many great features proposed* for Ubuntu 11.04 is integrating Ubuntu One and Shotwell photo manager.
The blueprint blurb offers a few examples of what such a marriage could provide: -
- Photos synced with Ubuntu One should automatically be available in Shotwell
- Allowing users to sync Shotwell albums with Ubuntu One
- Sharing photos in Shotwell through Ubuntu One’s publish and sharing functionality
With Shotwell to add video** download/managing support well in time for Natty’s release I’d also expect to see video sync, etc. support appear too.
*As with all blueprints and proposals for Natty not everything is guaranteed to land
