The top rated topics proposed on Ubuntu Brainstorm are to receive official responses from the Ubuntu project every three months, Canonical’s Matt Zimmerman has announced today.

"We continue to look for new and better ways to process the feedback provided by the user community." Zimmerman wrote, feeling that taking responsibility for responding to the most voted-for ideas will add ‘visibility to common user concerns, help users understand what we’re doing with their feedback, and generally improve transparency in Ubuntu.’

Responses, to be written by relevant experts within the Ubuntu project, are currently being prepared to the most popular items of the past six months.
