Just a quicks heads up to those following the development of GNOME-Shell – Florian Müllner has just announced that the new-look relayout branch – which we cooed over lovingly several weeks back – has landed in the GNOME-Shell Master branch.
Hereon-in users building GNOME-Shell from git master will have get the ‘relayout’ look by default.
The relayout has landed, further development will happen on the master branch. All those who switched their build to the overview-relayout branch should update their .jhbuildrc-custom to revert to master.
