It’s here! The Jolibook netbook from Jolicloud is available to purchase in the UK via Amazon and manufactuer Vye’s own online shop.
Priced a not-that-competitive £279 the dual-core Atom netbook packs in a 250GB hard-drive, Intel GMA graphics, 1GB of RAM and a 10.1″ screen. The battery claims to be good for 7 hours and capable of HD playback. The netbook does, of course, run Jolicloud’s own OS.
It’s a good netbook at a good price – although the similarly specc’d Acer Aspire One D255
That said £20 isn’t much to pay to support what is arguably the first true Linux netbook available for the masses.
