With our regular Banshee news-hound David Nielson enjoying himself in Brazil it’s left to me to share news of Banshee developer Alex Launi’s latest new feature for the aforementioned music player – a ‘play after’ feature.
A what?
This new menu entry lets you queue up albums, tracks or artists to play ‘after’ an album, track or artist currently playing in the queue has finished.
It’s much more exciting in practice than in words.

The feature will be included in November’s release of Banshee 1.9.0 according to Launi or, for those familiar with development, it’s ready for use in Banshee’s git and thus will turn up in the Banshee Daily PPA near you soon.
