The selected video and audio tracks for this cycles Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase initiative have been uploaded to Maverick.
Goce Mitevski’s impressive ‘how fast does your pc boot’ video wowed us when it was first submitted to the Free Culture Showcase several months back so we’re ecstatic to see that it has been selected for inclusion.
Audio entries were submitted to the UFCS Soundcloud group over the last few months. The audio track selected is called ‘swansong’ and is by Josh Woodward.
“Free Culture what?”
The Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase provides artists with an opportunity to get their creative wares seen by millions of Ubuntu users the world over. Contributors were able submit wallpapers, music and video entries for inclusion.

The ‘UFCS’ entries can find the UFCS entries within the ‘Example’ folder of Ubuntu 10.10
