You don’t need to miss out on the neat Ubuntu Sound Menu integration Rhythmbox boasts in Ubuntu 10.10 if you’re team Banshee.
All you need to do is install the soundmenu integration plugin, enable it and you’re done
- Install banshee-extension-soundmenu
- Launch Banshee and head up to ‘Edit > Preferences’
- Choose the ‘Extensions’ tab & enable ‘Sound Menu integration for Banshee’
Don’t forget to also disable the default tray icon or the option indicator-applet in order to enable Banshee to close to the menu.
