Add some Meerkat Ninja to your phone…

With the first Beta – and only, but who's counting – of Ubuntu 10.10 due for imminent release our super-talented friend Joern has whipped up something extra special for your enjoyment – a Ninja-styled 10.10 Meerkat wallpaper for  use on your phones!

And yes, he assures me that it does, indeed, say €œMaverick€ ;)

    As in : It would have to be usual Wallpaper Size? How does the N900 scale and handle Backgrounds?

    Yep, thats how us geeks roll nowadays, we don’t put Apple Stickers onto our PC’s anymore, we put Ubuntu Stuff on our Apple Devices xD

    I have to say, I’m not fond of it simply because the kana look quite ambiguous between “マーブェリック” and “マーゲェソツク”, plus, why that spelling instead of “マーベリック”?

    Jesus, are you kidding me? I used Google Translator, sorry i don’t always have a Japanese Translator at hand that’ll fix me into the secrets of good kana. I seriously mean no offense but this is just a design device. It’s meant to be fun, not over analyzed.

    Blame Google for the spelling ;)
