The founder of the Banshee project, Aaron Bockover just announced on his blog that all the Amazon MP3 Store purchases through Banshee’s integration with the Amazon servicewill send referrals from the Amazon Affiliate program to the GNOME Foundation.
For those unfamiliar with the GNOME Foundation, the foundation is a non-profit entity responsible for coordinating releases of GNOME and determining what projects are included in GNOME as a whole. The foundation is also heavily involved with funding and coordinating projects and conferences such as GUADEC
If you do not use Banshee, but still want to support the GNOME Foundation while buying music through the Amazon MP3 Store, you can use this link which will credit the foundation’s Amazon Affiliate ID with your purchases.
