We did feature such a script last yeat http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2009/09/automaticall… not sure if it still works cos of a few changes to Launchpad (and i have no missing keys to test it)

This happens to me practically every time I add a PPA – I think the keyserver is just down a lot, I don’t think it has anything to do with this PPA or this package.

Because I’m missing keys from PPAs I’ve added I get messages about unauthenticated repositories and packages whenever I apt-get update/upgrade. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to write a script that got any keys you were missing, I’m just not bothered/motivated enough to write one. It’d be nice if the keyserver just worked in the first place.

I remember checking their website a year or two ago and it looked terrible, I’m very happy to see it has improved! Now, if only I used rhythmbox ;)

it’s sudo add-apt-repository

not sudo add-apt-REPSOITORY
