The first beta of Mozilla’s Firefox browser is now available for the bleeding-edge insatiable to get their teeth into.

Many of the new features and enhancements we’ve mentioned over the last few months finally make their debut in Firefox 4 Beta 1 – including putting tabs on top by default, sorting out the inconsistent UI’s within the application and its associated dialogues and, for the development only, that super cute feedback button we cooed over 2 weeks back makes its appearance, and is just waiting to be clicked!schermafdruk1x[4]Linux users should note that Firefox 4 Beta 1 does NOT include the pretty window border button that is present in the Windows build and should be aware that compatibility problems with some websites and add-on’s may occur.
