Lucid Lynx is simply the best so far. Well, as far as I am concerned, almost all bugs has been fixed here in my laptop, Acer aspire 4330.

But what I love the most is the latest “WINE”. It is now working well with almost all of my installable windows software. Im not a gamer so I would rather stick on safe and secure OS than windows.

Another thing lacking, I hope someone will try to work on with the functionality of the built it webcams in laptops so that we can use it in chatting. As for the moment, for 2 years of using Ubuntu, this feature is one of the least worked out.

Yeah, We totally underestimated how big a task moving this site form blogger > wordpress was so expect to see UbuntuGamer launch around release candidate time.

I don't think it will be too long before gaming companies start supporting Ubuntu... we just have to keep asking for it and eventually they will listen!Oh, and btw, OMG! Ubuntu! people.. I was waiting for ubuntugamer.com to launch but when the timer ran out it just reset itself. Any EST on that?

It’s getting there the only downside is that Game makers haven’t yet come to understand (or are they being paid by Microsoft not to listen?) that Ubuntu is popular and many more would accept Linux as the only OS if we had games built for it. Trust me I’ve paid for 6 months Cedega and Sims 3, Anno 1404, NFS, StarCraft 2 etc are ok but kind of messed up, I know theres also playonlinux but yea Gaming support is number one on my list, besides that, how about a default glossy-translucent black theme with a HD wallpaper for PC’s with better components like mine :p lol i know Nixie has a better computer I’ve seen the videos, I play games and dont have the flight simulator stick or joystick with firing buttons, but if NFS is any good on Linux I might get a steering wheel with pedals :)

A good overall review that touches on the basics; this is the review I would show anyone on the fence. It's nice to hear something good about Empathy, though, after the bashing it took back in Karmic.
